What Does It Mean?
“Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for;” – Proverbs 16:6
Thats a challenge to our lives.
Are You Ready to Give?
I wonder what our Sunday morning offering at church would look like if we seriously practiced “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.”?
I mean do you think God really wants us reconciled over our tithes and offerings? I mean it doesn’t say if I have a problem, it says if my brother has a problem with me. So much for my life is my own and the things I do just affect me. Do you have someone in your life that things are not right with? Does someone have an issue with you? Why not go to them today and be reconciled? Why not be ready to give come Sunday?

Luke 17:3-4
So watch yourselves.
“If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, ‘I repent,’ forgive him.”
Matthew 18:15-17
“If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
Matthew 5:23-24
“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
